Dear Friends,My team and I have been working on improving the features of the Mergouza Rally since the last one ended in November. We have gone through your suggestions and acknowledged your criticism and hopes for the future.
As a result, our organisation has been reinforced, we have worked on our weak points and certain elements have been removed as they were judged to be unreliable. But rest assured: security and conviviality remain the key components of the Mergouza Rally.
In 2011, we’re also making a new commitment: that of offering you daily stages of a minimum 200 km distance. And if, for some unfortunate reason this is not the case, we will reimburse 1€ for every missing kilometre per participant.
A reminder of what the Mergouza Rally stands for
You may be an amateur who wants to take part in a Rally Raid without paying an arm and a leg. Or a Rally Raid beginner. Or a professional who wants to practice for the Dakar Rally in a secured race… No matter what your aim is, it’s for you that Edo Mossi is organising the Mergouza Rally (Motorcycles, Quads and SSV’s) between 5 and 12 November 2011.
Thanks to the “safe and economical” concept of the race you’ll discover this breathtaking region of Morocco situated not far from Erfoud and at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in seven days for just over 2000 euros. Your vehicle will need only minor technical adjustments in order to carry a road book and enough fuel to drive 100 km…
What will change in 2011 compared to 2010
• The Rally will run from Saturday to Saturday (you’ll only need to take one week off)
• A guaranteed total distance of 1000 km
• A second round different from the first one, with an incorporated “level” formula.
• Reduced fees for transportation of vehicles to Merzouga.
• Reduces fees for transfer Fez-Merzouga-Fez
• Reimbursement of kilometres for stages inferior to a 200 km distance(1€/km).

Depuis le 14 novembre, mon équipe et moi récoltons des informations pour améliorer la qualité du Merzouga Rally. Nous vous avons écouté, évalué et accepté vos conseils et critiques.
Nous avons corrigé et renforcé les points faibles de l’organisation et certains éléments retirés car peu fiables.
Avec cette métaphore, je veux vous rassurer : la sécurité et la convivialité seront toujours aux avant-postes.

Vous êtes amateur et vous voulez participer à un Rallye Tout Terrain sans vous ruiner, vous êtes débutant en Rallye Tout Terrain ou bien vous êtes professionnel et vous voulez profiter d’une course sécurisée pour vous entraîner avant le Dakar… Edo Mossi organise pour vous, au Maroc, le Merzouga Rally (Motos, Quads et SSV) du 5 au 12 novembre !
La formule « économique et sécurisée » vous permettra de découvrir cette très belle région du Maroc, située non loin d’Erfoud, aux pieds des dunes de l’Erg Chebbi, pendant 7 jours et pour un peu plus de 2000 euros.
Votre moto ne demandera que quelques petites modifications techniques légères comme un support de road book ou encore un réservoir vous permettant de parcourir 100 km…
