JES MUNK : PRICE GIVING OF THE PHARAON'S RALLY!

Hi everybody, here more pictures of Jes in the desert and the last one at the Price Giving Ceremony where he got two prices : the second best Privateers and the third of his class!

Only 53 bikers arrived and they were 85 at the start... Thanks to Thierry Magnaldi for the physical training and to Jean Brucy for the road book traning. You help him a lot to made this dream a reality.

Well done Jes, I'm proud of you but if you so so fast on the next rally I promise that you'll get a beating! ;-)
PS: The good stuff is that he lost 4 kg ;-) Keep going Louise!

JES MUNK FINISHED AMAZING 8th AND BEST ROOKIE OF THE PHARAON'S RALLY!

YEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! Jes did it! And how : 7th of the last stage (even with stomach problem from two days... ) and 8th overall! Waw! I've never expect this and it's a great result! But more than the result, he's to finish his first rally and don't made too much mistake that it's great. at the podium, he was very tired because it's two days that he eat just a little but was full of emotion. Now he has to digest this experience which is very strong... He loved the desert and the freedom to ride the dunes...
He found his discipline, a sport of freedom, speed and technic but also a sport where you really need to use your brain.

PHARAONS RALLY - JES MUNK ADVENTURE'S IN EGYPT - DAY 5

Hi everybody,
What can I say? Jes finished 6th today and when he passed the dune where I was taking pictures, he was flying! He was just behind Marcos Patronneli who won the Dakar in quad and lead the category now. Amazing!

Now I cross my fingers for tomorrow... and hope to finally have a drink with Jes and stop to be hard with him ;-) but it's the only way to enter some information in a rider's brain!

PHARAONS RALLY - JES MUNK ADVENTURE'S IN EGYPT - DAY 4

Well friends, today no action picture of Jes... I was on the second dune around the km 13 and he never passed there! I was waiting and waiting... all the buddies were coming and no Jes. I was so worry that I call the Satellite tel number of the PC course and asked my friend Ives from TDCom who's controling the Iritrack to check what was happen to him. Yves told me that he was riding... I never saw him today but he was at the bivouac! Ouf! That was his mistake of the day... navigation! He followed the bering 260 and forgot to change to 280 and was going the wrong way with the Guatemaltec, Francisco Arrendo. Another lesson. But he still going well and finished 20th.

In two words, the Special was hard but he really enjoy the dunes.

For his punishment to scared me... here's the picture of a Sexy Jes when at the bivouac!

PHARAONS RALLY - JES MUNK ADVENTURE'S IN EGYPT - DAY 3

Hi everybody!
Tonight Jes can be happy... He did not made any mistake, ride with his head and also a little bit slowly and finished 20th and that's great!
He even received a bottle of Champagne for his performance. The day was long, two specials and around 441 km to join the bivouac of Abu Mingar quite early. "The sceneries were so nice... espacially the 'English Road' that if I had a camera I would have stopped to take a picture. Also some place in the desert had big black pyramid in the sand... It's amazing how it's beautifull."
Take care guys, he had a serious idea of what he wants for Xmas ;-)
Tomorrow, another tuff day and 450 km in the Libyan Desert.
