APRILIA PROPOSES ASSISTANCE FOR RALLIES

All riders who will compete in international rallies with the Aprilia Tuareg 4.5 will be able to count on the official assistance of the Team Aprilia Giofil from today. The proposal of the Italian house for the Pharaons Rally and the Dakar goes from simple access to the spare parts shop to the bike rental with a dedicated mechanic.

The Team Aprilia Giofil has become a permanent presence in the most important international cross country rallies. The outstanding result obtained in the last Dakar, where Chaleco Lopez was third overall, and the extraordinary victory in the Rally of Tunisia, has catalyzed the interest on the Italian manufacturer. Filippo Assirelli, team manager, is structuring the team in a way more and more professional, using all the experience acquired in these years of racing to put it at the hands of private riders since today.

The Team Aprilia Giofil has, in fact, elaborated a series of assistance packages for the Pharaons Rally, the mythical race in Egypt organized by JVD in October, and also for the next Dakar Argentina - Chile, that will be held in the magnificent South American landscapes for the third consecutive year.

The packages are addressed to riders that already possess their own Aprilia, with several assistance options, or to riders who intend to rent an Aprilia Tuareg 4.5 from the Team Giofil.
All riders demanding the assistance will have access to the wide warehouse of spare parts stocked in the team´s truck, besides the transport of their luggage and a standard trunk.

For example, a rider with his own bike and without mechanical assistance will have to pay 2.000 euros for the Pharaons Rally and 3.000 for the Dakar. Another option, a rider with his own bike and a dedicated mechanic will have a rate of 6.000 euros for the Pharaons and 10.000 for the Dakar.

Whoever intends to rent a bike from the Team and make use of the assistance with a dedicated mechanic, he will have to pay 10.000 euros for the Pharaons and 25.000 for the Dakar.
